Day 63-66 (Sun 16/9 - Wed 19/9/18)    Kinkuna Beach Just here to relax and wind down from our trip, also Tracey has been looking forward to just chilling on the beach. Tried our hand at fishing - no good; kite flying - ok; walking along the beach - bit windy; and got the drone up once or twice.  Apart from that, plenty of time sitting in the sun.  We had a significant sea breeze most days so it got a little cold as the sun set behind us. Our view when we woke, from inside the tent. From the air…                              Day 67 (Thu 20/9/18)    Kinkuna Beach   -   Brisbane After crossing 4 states, 12816km’s, living in each others back pockets for 9.5 weeks, suffering through the witty banter and occasional clashing of heads we finally all arrive home safe and sound.  But just before we drive into our driveways we have a celebratory dinner at the Eaton’s Hill Hotel.      What a fantastic trip with fantastic friends.  Thanks Kate and Paul.  Thanks also to my wonderful wif

Day 59 (Wed 12/9/18)    Airlie Beach   -   Marlborough Travel day, stopped at the Marlborough Pub overnight, huge meals. Day 60 (Thu 13/9/18)    Marlborough   -   Seventeen Seventy Another travel day, dropped in to Rockhampton to pick up my new solar panels I ordered after Lawn Hill.  This should keep the new batteries topped up at the beach. Then into Seventeen seventy for 2 nights.  Great views along with the sun setting over the water.                 Day 61 (Fri 14/9/18)    Seventeen Seventy Relaxing day on the water front.  A stroll along the river bank and up to the lookout, where we sighted a whale again.                                            Day 62 (Sat 15/9/18)    Seventeen Seventy   -   Kinkuna Beach (Burrum Coast NP) Short drive today from the packed camping ground at Seventeen Seventy to the hopefully quiet beach in the National Park.  A quick grocery shop in Bundaberg on the way. Then setting ourselves up right on the beach.

Sat 8th - Tue 11th September - Airlie Beach (Whitsunday Cruise)

Day 55 (Sat 8/9/18)   Airlie Beach - Whitsunday Cruise The Girls did some pampering this morning after a couple of months in the outback with all the dust etc.  Who could blame them.  Paul and I stocked up on alcohol and washed the cars, all in preparation for our 3 night cruise starting later today.     Then after lunch onto the “Whitsunday Blue” a 41 foot catamaran for our wander around the Whitsunday Islands.             What a wonderful start, 8 passengers and 2 crew all were great people.  All willing to give “Cards against Humanity” a go after dinner!  Great way to have fun and get to know everyone. New friends… Steve and Chris from Spain (who got engaged at Whitehaven Beach later in the cruise). Rod and Bec from Sydney Ian (Skipper) from all around, originally from Perth.  Loves his job and hugely knowledgeable about sailing despite his young age of 20. Emma (Hostess) from England, again loves her time on the boats. Day 56 (Sun 9/9/18)   Whitsunday Cruise Great sheltered spot ov
