Sunday 27th June Out of Augusta on a wet day into a farm stay at Pemberton.  Set up and into town for lunch at the pub.  Weather clearing, sort of, so we opt to start the 84km Karri Explorer Scenic drive.    Through the huge 400 yr old Karri trees…                        Monday 28th June Brighter day today so out to complete the Karri Explorer Scenic drive.  First stop Beedelup Falls and a suspension bridge.                            More trees…                    Warren River…     Then on to the Bicentenial Tree.  This is the highest tree climb in the world, 65 metres up.  It used to be used for fire spotting, the cab at the top is well above tree top level giving an unrestricted 360degree view.  But it is not a climb for the faint hearted… both Kate and myself dabbled up about 10metres before reconsidering the lack of safety apparatus and returned to solid ground, but Paul persevered and climbed to the top.  Unfortunately due to the concern

On to the Hay shed Winery/restaurant for a Tap
