Mon 18th August Brisbane – Nindigully

Day 1

Well we are off…weather conditions not very good, very windy and a little rain along the way.  2 tonne of car with all the gear on top driving with the very windy conditions makes for a very interesting trip.  But all good.

Brunch at Warwick, latish lunch at Goondiwindi and then light refreshments at Nindigully by 4pm.  First of the longish travel days ending at a pub and the obligatory drink and pub meal – meal was huge, luckily shared between two.  Ticking off a few of the outback pubs in Kate’s book as we go – 5 pubs in 4 days.
