Mon 12th – Thu 15th July. Albany-Esperance

Monday 12th July

Departed Albany, initial plan was to duck into Bremer Bay (60kms off the highway) but as the weather, especially the wind, was so bad we decided not to stop on the coast and just continue towards Esperance.  Stopping at the Munglinup roadhouse just short of Esperance for the night.

Tuesday 13th July

Arrived into Esperance and setup before lunchtime.  In the afternoon we did the very scenic “Esperance Ocean Drive”.  Visiting Pink Lake (not so pink) and numerous beaches and coves.  The coastline scenery is absolutely awesome.

Wednesday 14th July

Day trip today out to Cape La Grand NP. 

Visiting Esperance Stonehenge on the way, a replica of the 5000 year old original in England – we are not sure why…

Lucky Bay being so nice and the space available in the camping area, we have decided to return and camp here for Friday and Saturday night. 

 

 

Thursday 15th July

Car servicing, shopping and washing all planned for today.  But we did wake to water front sites after the torrential rain and hail overnight. Smile
