Mon 10th to Tue 11th July - Travelling Brisbane - London

Day 1 - Monday.  Brisbane - Singapore

A late night supper at the airport waiting to board.

Departed on time from Brisbane Airport on Singapore Airlines for the first 8 hour leg.

Day 2 - Tuesday.  Singapore - London

Arrived at Changi Airport, Singapore, absolutely pouring with rain and lightning.  A little tired, overnight flight sounds like a great idea but unless you can sleep all the way, you've missed out on a good night sleep.

Spending time (6 hours) at this airport whilst waiting for our next flight.  A very large airport plenty of shops, after the 8 hours sitting time spent the first hour or so wandering around.  Checking out the fantastic greenery throughout and one of their mode of transports.

Then on to the Ambassadors Lounge (comes free with our $20 voucher for being a transit passenger) for some nibbles, shower and relaxing until time to go on to our next 14 hour leg... Singapore - London.

A little newer aircraft, seemed more comfortable... or we were more prepared.  Departed about 45 minutes late but on time into London.  But then an hour or so to get through Border Security.  Test

Around 9pm, picked up our luggage on to the "Underground Tube".  Oh, it is raining here too.  Nearest station to our accommodation (an Airbnb place) didn't have any taxi's so a wet stroll to reach our accommodation.

Admittedly this was taken the following morning, a little happier after some sleep.
