Sat 22nd July - Zagreb

Day 13 - Saturday.  Around town - Zagreb.

After our absolutely fantastic meal the previous night along with a couple of drinks, getting up was a little slow this morning.  35 degrees outside doesn't help to motivate you either.  But this is our only day so off we go, Tourist info has a self guided walk explaining all the pertinent attractions and history.

Starting with The Cathedral, opposite our apartment.

Looking up some of the streets.

       

Then a quick 55 second trip on the shortest funicular in the world, saved us climbing stairs to gain the 31m of elevation.

Longish day visiting the sights.  Back to our apartment where we relaxed playing out first game of Canasta of the trip.
