Sun 29th July - Alice Springs – Yulara (Ayers Rock)

Day 14  (Sun 29/7/18)

After a great breakfast at our B&B we hit the bitumen road to Yulara, arriving just after lunch.  Forecast has us getting down to low temperatures again. Camp set up…

Then for the evening we had booked “Field of Lights – Star pass” which was absolutely stunning.  Starting with watching the sunset on Ayers Rock with drinks and canapés and finishing with the Field of lights coming to life.

  

     

And to top off the experience we had the moon rise over the Field of Lights which was absolutely awesome!!!

As we head out tomorrow morning, we lose Telstra coverage for most of our trip through to Halls Creek and Kununurra, our plan has us arriving Kununurra around Wednesday 22nd August.  If we get any signal along the way, I will try to upload the latest Blog posts.
