Day 39  (Thu 23/8/18)

Starting with the cars being serviced with no issues reported other than my tyres, mechanics report are that they should be replaced.

               

So next was the Cooper tyre dealer to discuss the issues with my brand new tyres after only 2500 kms, expecting a bit of an argument but was very relieved that after a quick phone call to the Coopers State manager, all 4 tyres were agreed to be replaced under warranty.  Although some hiccups with this…  need to have them delivered from Perth about a 5-7 day delay.  But then, Perth warehouse has no stock… another call to the state manager with him offering Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ P3 tyres instead (one of my preferred tyres anyway), then the best news, the tyre shop has these in stock and can fit them Friday, no need to wait 5-7 days.  Some bad luck with tyres throughout this trip but some great luck in the solutions.  Very happy with a brand new set of Mickey Thompson tyres being fitted after completing the CSR.

Day 40  (Fri 24/8/18)

Tyres fitted, cars cleaned, groceries topped up before relaxing.

Then to the Pumphouse restaurant for drinks as we watch the sun set followed by a fantastic dinner.  Great food and great night out.

   

   

   

Day 41 (Sat 25/8/18)

Final stock up of the cars before sitting around the pool again.   

Then a sunset BBQ cruise on Lake Kununurra…
