Fri 29 June Ellenbrae Station – Mitchell Falls NP
Day 21
Ellenbrae Station:
The “Donkey” – Hot water system The well appointed camp bathroom…
And of course our camp setup.
After Scones for breakfast we headed off.
On the way the customary wood gathering…
Lunch at Drysdale Station, with their “legendary” Kimberley Burger. Kyle in heaven…
One of the small issues with corrugations… things tend to rub and move and vibrate. Kate complained to Paul whilst driving that she was getting wet, the inside of the windscreen also getting wet. The culprit was deduced immediately after stopping with the strong odour of beer. One of the beer cans had rubbed too much and sprang a leak.
Now what do you do with a leaking beer can???
What else!
Then of course comes the drying of wet clothes…
I am sure Kate and Paul will enjoy the aroma for a few days.
We spent most of today travelling to get to Mitchell Falls, for our walk in the morning. Looking forward to seeing these falls….
We Aussies are so practical...n'est-ce pas? Glad to see the beer was not wasted!
