Thu 28 June El Questro – Ellenbrae Station

Day 20

Before we set off from El Questro, we decide we should visit the actual El Questro Gorge.  Getting there and back ended up simpler than the walk itself.

   

The El Questro Gorge walk was a lovely walk to the half way point… then as we had a bit of a drive to do today we opted to to turn back.  Going on required a walk through chest deep water then climbing over boulders before it then became “difficult” apparently.  Maybe we should have read the brochure first?  But some photos anyway.

Onwards… lunch on the edge of the Penticost River…

     

 

   

We chose to stay at Ellenbrae Station on our way to Mitchell Falls, a lovely quaint setup.  We plan to have Scones, jam and cream for breakfast tomorrow – a specialty here.
